Four-Band Channel EQ

4K-E Console EQ

Modelled on the EQ card of the British large-format console. Proportional-Q bells tighten as you add gain; the two-pole shelves carry the small overshoot of the original card; the Transformer switch thickens the bottom and softens the top. Every control is smoothed at the coefficient level, so you can move anything while the amp is loud without hearing a click.

Features

  • LF and HF shelves, ±15 dB, each switchable to bell
  • LMF and HMF parametric bells, ±15 dB, continuous Q from 0.5 to 3
  • Proportional-Q bells that tighten as gain increases, like the original card
  • HPF sweeps 15–350 Hz  /  LPF sweeps 23 kHz down to 3 kHz
  • TRANSFORMER: 1:1 output stage with low-frequency core saturation
  • OUTPUT trim ±12 dB for level matching after a boost
  • Zero latency — every parameter click-free while moving

Sonic Enhancer on Anagram

Phase-Correction Enhancer

Sonic Enhancer

A cascade of first-order all-pass stages, magnitude-flat by construction, that realigns the phase relationship between the low and high bands before the enhancer runs. Definition brings out fret detail and pick attack. Enhance adds weight underneath. Both bands come off the corrected path, so the crossover stays clear of comb filtering however far you push the controls. At zero on both, the response is flat.

Features

  • ENHANCE lifts a phase-corrected low band for weight and authority
  • DEFINITION lifts a phase-corrected high band for attack and string detail
  • All-pass phase correction keeps the crossover clear of comb filtering
  • Magnitude-flat with both controls at zero
  • OUTPUT trim ±12 dB for level matching
  • Zero latency — no lookahead, no added delay

Classic Compressors

Opto and FET, modelled from the compressors that defined large-format console work. Built with the same circuit-level attention as the rest of the range. More details soon.

4K-E Desktop

The full channel EQ in a standalone desktop format. Larger controls, a wider simultaneous view of all four bands, and the same proportional-Q circuit underneath.
